Destiny of the Confederate
Anthony Arena:
The fifteen year old trumpet player turned drum phenom learns fast. Literally, he touched a drumset for the first time on Monday, and by Wednesday he was laying down the beat to Check Yes Juliet. Whether it's hard rock or ballads, just name it and he can play it. Look out for some possible trumpet features in future songs.
Brian Hertzberg:
The bassist for DOTC goes by HBB Yo. He can lay down the sweet grooves for our songs, and he even sings! (Ayyo, Ayyo!) He's also notoriously famous for putting a giant baseball bat on top of the hi hat cymbal. Outside of Destiny, he jams on the tenor sax in field band. Oh, and he's pretty sick at Guitar Hero. You can visit his proboard page for more information.
Brian Sweeney:
The lead singer and guitarist for Destiny goes by Killer Sweeney. If you don't like it, enter the Name Sweeney contest on Hertzberg's website. Anyway, Sweeney plays mellie in the field band and also plays piano. There may be a piano or keyboard feature or two in an upcoming song, so look out for that. If you watched our tribute to When You Were Young, you know that Sweeney's vocals have their limitations. He personally promises never to record anything like that ever again. Ever.
Simona Benenati:
The girlfriend of the lead singer and new manager of DOTC, Simona tried a variety of woodwind and string insruments before deciding on singing. She currently takes guitar lessons as well. All of the music and lyrics for the original songs were done by her. She will also be the director of any future music videos. And top of all that, she arranges all of our gigs for us. SHE CAN DO IT ALL!
